Welcome to my journal; ninety percent public, pants optional.
I'm a twenty-one year-old missy living in the southeast US. It's a pretty conventional place and I can't wait to escape it. Until the mothership comes to fetch me, I'm stuck here and trying to make the best of it.
I'm a good-natured person with a penchant for bad jokes and a total trash TV enthusiast. I'm kind of compulsive about my personal space and tend to rearrange my room and fiddle with every aspect of my LJ every few months. I dabble in a little bit of everything; graphic making, random photography, music sharing, doodling.
Writing is one of my big passions in life, whether it be of the fanfic or original persuasion. I know that's cliché to say as everyone and their brother writes, but it doesn't make it any less true for me. Funnily enough, I don't do it that often, but summer's coming and it's a very inspiring season for me. If you stick around long enough I might just post that epic fantasy tale I've been planning since high school.
I also get into idealistic moods and pine away for eras that are long gone: from the Victorian to the Roarin' 20s to the free-wheeling 60s. I'm one of those weirdos that believes she was born in the wrong timeline. But let's be honest here, who wouldn't want to take a train through grassy moors or walk along a cobblestone street somewhere in Europe, buying cheap jade jewelry from street vendors? I know I would. Perhaps you could keep me company.
It takes a lot to get me angry, but don't try pressing my buttons. If you're one of those folks that likes to agitate people for your own amusement, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. I don't have the time or patience for jackasses. There's enough of them in my personal life and I'd like to keep them out of my online one.
I gladly accept new friends. My only stipulation is that we have some interests in common. Other than that, go wild! |
